Creative Fish Pottery Studio was started to bring people together in a creative way, in a safe space, to form a community of pottery makers and artisans.
What can be learned?
Creative Fish Pottery Studio teaches a variety of pottery skills including hand building, extrusion, potter's wheel, trimming and finishing, glazing, various decorating methods, and so much more!
About the Teacher
Bethany Mackey of Creative Fish Pottery has been making pots since 2005. She learned her skills from a local potter, who taught her the ins and outs of making, teaching, and running a pottery business. She has had her creations featured at numerous galleries and artisan shops all over Northeastern Ohio. She is a working artisan and shows her creations at local and regional art fairs as well. Her style is very distinctive and can be described as earthly, flowing, and functional. Bethany is a very giving pottery teacher who wishes to share her knowledge and create a fun, caring atmosphere that enables her students to thrive while support each other.
What else to we do?
Creative Fish Pottery offers other types of classes such as for daycare/adult care groups, team building events, birthday parties, and we are open to suggestions too!
